This Scholarship Fund was established in May of 2006, with the generous donation of a single donor. Since its inception this scholarship has awarded over $205,000.00 in financial support, assisting with the secondary education of nearly 50 Roscommon High School students.
The Scholarship will provide freshman year only financial assistance for players on the Roscommon High School Soccer Teams to attend an accredited trade school, junior college or four-year college or university within 2 years from graduation from Roscommon High School. To be eligible, the graduate must have been a team member or manager for three (3) years.

2025 – Ben Denlinger and Elise Cherven.
Elise and Ben, both graduates of Roscommon High School, have been selected as the 2025 scholarship recipients for their exceptional dedication to academics and future goals. Elise will be attending Kirtland Community College to pursue a degree in Nursing, driven by her passion for helping others and making a difference in healthcare. Ben will be heading to Northern Michigan University to major in Business, with aspirations of becoming a leader in his field. Their hard work, ambition, and strong community values make them outstanding representatives of Roscommon’s next generation of changemakers.
