The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center’s core service is to provide a multidisciplinary response to cases involving a child victim. They strive to align multiple law enforcement agencies, state child protective services, the court, schools, medical, and mental health services to provide a comprehensive child-focused process that ensures children are given a proper interview, advocacy, and treatment. The NMCAC makes sure no child gets lost in the aftermath of child abuse and neglect.
The Fox Run Ladies Golf League created the Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center Fund to supplement the operating expenses of the Center.
The fund may be used for needs such as staff and volunteer training, equipment, or as determined by the Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center Board of Directors.
