$50,550 Scholarships Awarded
Dr. Grace Bernardo was a highly revered pediatrician, who loved her life, family, patients, fellow employees, but children especially. She had a zest for life, was highly respected by her peers, practiced good medicine and was loved by many.
Unfortunately Grace’s life was cut tragically short by the ravages of cancer. To honor her and her memory, the Grace Bernardo, M.D. Memorial Health Careers Scholarship was established with the Roscommon County Community Foundation in 2008, and is specifically for students aspiring to health care careers—not just for a doctorate degree, but also careers such as nursing and the many allied health care careers.
The Grace Bernardo, M.D. Memorial Health Careers Scholarship is awarded on an annual basis to Roscommon County students entering or enrolled in health career education and/or training programs.
