Houghton Lake Rotary Club General Fund

The Rotary Club works to promote peace, provide clean water and sanitation, support education, and grow local economies, among other causes. This fund was established in 1998.  Income is unrestricted and applied to the greatest needs in the Houghton Lake/Prudenville area, as recommended by the Houghton Lake Rotary Club.

2023 – Denton Township – $2,144.19 – Thomas L. McNamara Memorial Rotary Nature Trail

2020 – Denton Township – $2,323 – Sullivan Beach Project (Bench or Playground Equipment)

2017 – RCCF Friends for Safe Schools Fund – $1,500 – RCCF H.L Rotary Club Gen Endowment to Friends for Safe Schools

2015 – Denton Township – $2,000 – Support for new dugouts park enhancements

2014 – Roscommon Township – $1,000 – Support for traveling Viet Nam wall memorial

2013 – Denton Township – $3,000 – Support for Trestle Park

2012 – River House, Inc. – $750 – Endowment support for Shelter programs
Roscommon County Food Pantry – $1,000 – Donor-advised grant for general support

2009 – Marguerite Gahagan Nature Preserve, Inc. – $500 – DAF grant to ELF Program
