The Roscommon Rotary Club has established a Special Project Fund to support the funding needed to develop the Higgins Lake/Roscommon Non-Motorized Trail Way System.
The trail way is intended for walking, running, bicycling and skating, and encircles Higgins Lake and reaching into the Village of Roscommon. Eventually, the trail way system will provide connections towards neighboring communities, linking surrounding trail systems including regional trail corridors.
Higgins Lake / Roscommon Non-Motorized Trail Way System Fund Grant Recipients
2013 – Roscommon County Road Commission – $15,000.00 for Trail Way System paving project.
2010 – Lyon Township – $5,000.00 for Trail Way special project costs.
2009 – Roscommon County Road Commission – $4,000.00 for Trail Way special project costs.
