Community Champion Spicer's Boat City

Community Champion: Spicer’s Boat City

Houghton Lake, MI – The Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF) is proud to recognize Spicer’s Boat City as a long-standing member of the Ambassador’s Club and a true Community Champion.

For more than 20 years, the Spicer family and their team have been steadfast supporters of RCCF’s mission, demonstrating consistent generosity, strong community values, and a deep commitment to making Roscommon County a better place for all.

In 2024, Spicer’s was elevated to the title of Community Champion for their leadership-level giving of $3,000 to the Ambassador’s Club. Their continued support plays a vital role in strengthening local scholarships, funding impactful grants, and helping RCCF provide resources that make lasting change in our county.

“There is so much need in our community. I’m not sure people realize how much there is and that the foundation recognizes that and supports all of the different causes,” shared Phillip Spicer, Owner of Spicer’s Boat City. “We really do it to make sure the foundation has the tools to do what they want to do. We’ve been an Ambassador for over 20 years—doing our part. No donation is too small, and there’s a fund for everyone. If you’re passionate about something, there’s a fund for you.”
