2021 – RCCF Awards Kirtland Foundation Funding

The Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF) is pleased to say that the Kirtland Foundation was awarded a grant as part of their annual disbursement from the Kirtland Community College Education Fund. With this funding they were able to support a Basic Life Support and Heartsaver courses and supplies at Kirtland Community College.

They were able to purchase new mannequins that are equipped with QCPR technology that connects to smartphones and tablets to provide feedback with real time and other info. This way students will know right away if they are administering the correct pressure and breath during their training simulation. This training course is used by many such as the Police Academy cadets and Kirtland Health Science students. Over 60 Basic Life Support and Heartsaver courses have been organized by Kirtland Community College Community Education Department since 2018.
