Char Goddard Memorial Scholarship Fund

$7,800 Scholarships Awarded

Char was born in Dearborn on August 14, 1967. She lived her life in Roscommon, and was a beloved member of the community. Most people knew her as a person who would do anything for anyone, and who possessed a kind and giving heart.

Char served as the director of food services for Roscommon Area Public Schools/Chartwells Food Services for 23 years, and was also the caterer at Lakeside Association’s Dining Hall for many years. Char’s friends and family never went hungry-as part of her giving spirit, she loved to cook, and feed anyone who crossed her path!

The goal of this fund is to create a legacy for Char’s desire to help others in need, her passion for the culinary arts, and above all, her strength and courage when faced with adversity. This scholarship is intended to promote and encourage others to pursue their education and fulfill their potential.
