Howard B. “Corky” Gaylor Memorial Fund

$4,220.00 Granted

Howard B. “Corky” Gaylor was born on September 14, 1930. Mr. Gaylor lived a very full life. His accomplishments varied from serving in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War, to owning and operating Gaylor Insurance Agency, to his hobbies of purple duck carving and bird hunting. He also served as the Roscommon County Probate and Juvenile Court Judge for 23 years.

After working with the county’s youth for those years, Mr. Gaylor recognized the need for programs that would support those at risk. This Fund will be used for the charitable purpose of supporting projects, programs, and services for the youth of Roscommon County. Preference will be given to programs that serve at risk youth.
