Roscommon, MI — Ten local leaders from a variety of organizations and sectors have officially graduated from the Leadership Learning Lab (LLL), a year-long leadership development program that empowers leaders to grow personally and professionally while strengthening the organizations and communities they serve.
The final session and graduation celebration took place at the Roscommon United Methodist Church, hosted by the Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF), a proud community partner in this transformative initiative. A group photo was taken to commemorate the moment, featuring 8 of the 10 graduates.

About the Leadership Learning Lab
The Leadership Learning Lab is an intensive 10-month program that brings together nonprofit, business, tribal, and government leaders from across northern Lower Michigan. Through monthly in-person learning sessions, reflection activities, peer support pods, and resource sharing, participants develop:
- Adaptive, resilient, and collaborative leadership skills
- Improved communication and conflict resolution techniques
- Effective time management strategies
- Tools for fund development, mission-driven storytelling, board engagement, and more
LLL is open to leaders at all stages of their careers and is specifically designed to provide a supportive and enriching space for growth, learning, and experimentation. Graduates leave with a network of peers, a refreshed sense of purpose, and practical tools they can immediately apply within their organizations.
A Strong Local and Regional Partnership
The Roscommon County Community Foundation is proud to support and host Leadership Learning Lab participants locally. RCCF’s role in this program is part of its broader mission to foster leadership, education, and innovation in Roscommon County.
Leadership Learning Lab is made possible through a collaborative regional effort. In addition to RCCF, the program is supported by other community foundation partners, including the Otsego Community Foundation, the Frey Foundation, and the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan. Rotary Charities of Traverse City and is also a key partner in making this impactful leadership development experience a reality across northern Lower Michigan.
