Ruth Anne (Williams) Rackerby was born September 3, 1943, in Roscommon, MI. In 1965 she graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Child Development. Annie married Tom Rackerby in 1973. For 16 years she was a K-6 classroom teacher, with three of those years spent in the Philippines working in Department of Defense educational system while her husband Tom served in the Navy. In 2002 Tom and Annie retired and enjoyed traveling and many adventures together. Annie also spent many years volunteering for the Colorado State Extension service as the media coordinator for the Denver Junior Symphony Guild annual designer show house and the master gardener. Annie always had a love for animals and her friends.

Distributions from the Fund will support early childhood development for students in kindergarten through sixth grade in Roscommon County, Michigan.
