The Roscommon County Community Foundation is excited to announce that it has awarded a $5,000 grant through a donor advised fund to the CRAF Center in Roscommon.
The CRAF Center is home to around 660 members who enjoy the fitness center and activities such as sports leagues, aerobics classes, yoga, self-defense and karate, and much more. Pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in the nation, is found at the CRAF Center. The court that was previously used for pickleball was so damaged that it hindered play with its worn-out floor and metal plates. But the RCCF funded a new, safer floor for the court that allows for players to enjoy playing pickleball and for the court to be used for other forms of recreation.
