The Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF) is pleased to announce they have awarded their very first #CommunityChoice Grant to the Roscommon Area Public Library (RADL). RADL was nominated by the community, and ultimately received the most “likes” resulting in a big win for their organization. RADL was presented with a $1,000.00 grant funded by The Ambassador Club Fund.
The #CommunityChoice grant awarded to RADL helped fund their summer reading program. The summer reading program is a great way to encourage children to read. Throughout the program children had the chance to earn tickets per book they read to earn prizes from a raffle drawing. Children also had the opportunity to enjoy games, snacks, food and live music.
