Karen taught business classes at Roscommon High School and was the co-op coordinator. She also served as an Advisor for the RCCF Youth Advisory Committee and was co-sponsor of the Young Business Professionals. This scholarship was originally established by members of the community to recognize what a fine woman and great example Karen had been for the students in our community.
Frank lived in Roscommon most of his life and owned the Arleth Land Survey Company and was very well liked throughout the area. He also owned and operated Sally-E Charters, a charter fishing boat operation on Lake Michigan. Frank was also the ambassador for Pure Fishing and Lowrance Electronics. Among all of his other accomplishments, he was also a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors, Ducks Unlimited and Trout Unlimited, and coached boy’s basketball at Roscommon Middle School.
