The Bonnie Biggar Music Fund is a recently established fund at the Roscommon County Community Foundation. This new fund in memory of Bonnie Biggar will support K-12 music programs at Roscommon Area Public Schools. Support includes but is not limited to uniforms, sheet music, field trips, and other needs for the choir, band, jazz band, and steel drum band.
A gifted musician and active member of the Roscommon community, Bonnie served for 60 years as the organist at St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church; taught as a substitute at Roscommon Area Public Schools; served many years as the pianist for Roscommon Elementary School’s Christmas concert and Children’s Choir; and was involved in the local Mikenauk Chorale and Sweet Adeline’s Barbershop Choir. Along with her musical achievements, Bonnie lived a full, adventurous life in the company of her loving family and community, who all remember her with admiration.
The Bonnie Biggar Music Fund will ensure that Bonnie’s love for music will continue to inspire and enrich the lives of generations to come.
