Tom Hoffmeyer, 37

Tom Hoffmeyer is the lead pastor at Good Shepherd UMC, where he has served since April 2019. Before moving to Roscommon, he led multiple congregations in Indiana. Tom is passionate about ministry, driven by his belief that God’s love changes lives and the world. This passion is evident in his commitment to his congregation and community, where he focuses on acts of compassion to help create a more just society.
Tom holds an undergraduate degree in history and political science from Indiana University and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. As an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, his ministry is deeply rooted in the belief that everyone belongs to God and that the world can be transformed through faith and action.
Tom is married to Lenore, and they have two children, Nate and Lydia. Outside of his pastoral duties, Tom enjoys adventuring with his family, hiking, listening to music, playing the guitar, and reading.
Tom is supporting the Roscommon County Kellogg Youth Fund.
