Entrepreneur, Business Owner and Manager, Canoe Race/Recreation Enthusiast
As an entrepreneur and business owner, and outdoor recreation enthusiast in Roscommon, Sean has been making a positive impact in the Roscommon community since settling back there in 2016. With a deep commitment to community involvement, Sean has served as the president of the Roscommon Canoe Racing Association (RCCRA) since 2018. In this role, he helps provide youth paddlers with a safe introduction to the sport, brings events to the area that shine a spotlight on the beautiful rivers that traverse Roscommon County and beyond.
Sean is passionate about giving back, and his volunteer efforts extend to grooming ski trails in the winter with the Roscommon Area Recreation Authority (RARA) and supporting Skye High Gymnastics Center to provide a fun and community oriented environment for young athletes. He actively helps with community involvement and offers scholarships to competitive athletes through the RCCRA and Skye High Gymnastics, demonstrating his dedication to fostering opportunities for local youth.
As a father of two great kids, Emma and Hunter, Sean loves being active and spending time outdoors with them. He values the small-town love and support that Roscommon offers, and he appreciates the incredible events, parades, and festivals that bring the community together.
