Joseph Moore, originally from Port Huron, Michigan, is the oldest of five siblings. His father served as a deputy for the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, while his mother played the crucial role of ensuring the safety and well-being of their family. From a young age, Joseph’s passion for learning was evident. He excelled academically throughout his school years, always striving to reach his fullest potential.
Inspired by the dedicated teachers who guided him, Joseph chose to pursue a career in education, with a particular focus on special education. He believes that students in special education deserve the best possible educational opportunities and need advocates who are committed to helping them achieve their goals and dreams.
For the past 10 years, Joseph has been a valued member of the COOR Educational Center, where he has loved teaching and working alongside his dedicated colleagues. Now, as the principal, Joseph continues to feel incredibly blessed and fortunate to serve the amazing students and staff at COOR.
