Recognizing Our Young Leaders
From May 15 to July 15, RCCF accepted nominations from the public to identify and honor 40 exceptional individuals, under the age of 40, making a positive impact in Roscommon County. Our goal was to spotlight those who are making a difference through their occupation, volunteer efforts, work with youth or the elderly, or by simply being a positive force in our community.
The honorees hail from every corner of Roscommon County—St. Helen, Houghton Lake, Roscommon, Higgins Lake, and Prudenville. Our list showcases a diverse array of young leaders, including those who have lived here all their lives, those who have recently made Roscommon County their home, and those who left only to return and serve the community they grew up in.
Our youngest honoree, a 17-year-old high school student from Houghton Lake, represents the future of our community, while others, at 39 years old, embody the leadership that continues to drive Roscommon County forward. Each nominee was asked to select a fund at the Foundation that resonates with them, whether it directly impacts their work or supports causes they care deeply about. The funds selected by our honorees will be featured in each profile, and you are invited to contribute to that fund in honor of our 40 young leaders.
We hope you enjoy learning about and celebrating our 40 Under 40 honorees, who exemplify the spirit and dedication that make Roscommon County a special place. While there are many more individuals deserving of this recognition, this list reflects those who were nominated and represents the diverse and vibrant communities that make up our county.
